To apply the same text change(s) to multiple questions, use the Bulk Rename feature.
First select all of the questions to apply the same text changes to, then click the Bulk Rename option, located at the bottom of the page.
The Bulk rename window supports the following edit options:
Adding prefix text
Adding suffix text
Removing and/or replacing text
Note: When replacing text, the optional case sensitive setting is set to off by default. This means that a text strings 'ABC' and 'abc' will be treated the same. To make a distinction between upper and lower case text strings, turn the case sensitive setting on.
In this example, "Q6. On a scale from 1 to 10 Please Rate: " is being replaced with "Ratings: "
The Original column shows highlighted text that will be changed or removed.
The Preview column shows what the new question labels will look like after the changes are applied.
To confirm the text changes and to stay in this Bulk Rename edit window to make additional edits, click the Keep Changes button and continue making label edits. (see example below)
or...
To save the text changes and exit the Bulk Rename edit window, click the Apply button.
In this example, "Q6. On a scale from 1 to 10 Please Rate: " was replaced with "Ratings: " and the Keep Changes button was clicked. Using the Keep Changes button applies the text changes, but still keeps the user in the Edit Question Labels window to continue making additional edits.
"Satisfaction" is being added as Prefix text to all question labels.
The Original column shows the question labels, prior to the Prefix text being entered.
The Preview column shows what the new question labels will look like after the changes are applied.
The Add Suffix option works the same as the Add Prefix field, except text entered in the Add Suffix field will appear at the end of the question labels.
To save all of the text changes and exit the Bulk Rename edit window, click the Apply button.
The user will return to the Edit Mode and the renamed text will now be displayed as the new question labels.
