Transformations

Transformations allow you to refer to calculations' results to a decided base and discover differences and relations between the scores. Index calculations provide more information about how to apply transformation calculations to your project. Available transformations in Halo Reports are index, Difference, and % difference.

The index is the ratio of value to the selected base multiplied by 100.
E.g., when calculating the Index of Satisfaction with the product for Make A in relation to the Sample total, you need to divide A’s score (8.1119) by the Sample total score (8.0605) and multiply by 100. The result would be*:

The difference is obtained by subtracting a base value from the analyzed score.
E.g., The difference between Overall satisfaction with the product of A make and Sample total equal*:

% difference is a ratio of one score to a base value minus 1.
E.g., the % difference of the Make A score and the Total sample score is*:

*Please keep in mind that Halo Reports always performs calculations on unrounded values, so the results presented in the Spreadsheet can be different (more accurate) than the ones presented above. The presented examples are intended to explain the logic of calculations - not the precise values.
