Autocomplete The Question's Dictionary

When working with numeric questions such as 'Respondent Age,' the question's dictionary is often missing from the data (i.e. it has not been created or defined because the numeric response given is the respondent's actual age).

In other instances, a question's dictionary might just be incomplete.
Users can now automatically populate the dictionary with missing entries from the data.

Questions with a missing or incomplete dictionary are identified with a warning icon.

Select the question, then click the down-arrow next to the Dictionary warning icon to expand the menu options.
Choose Autocomplete Dictionaries and the Stat Value and Label columns will populate using the data from the Code column.

The contents of the dictionary can then be sorted, merged, edited, etc.

Auto completing a question’s dictionary will enable the option to recode the numeric question.
Without a complete dictionary, only a range recode would be possible for numeric questions.

Auto completing a question's dictionary is not available with verbatim questions.
