Superscripts

Superscripts (a word, letter, or number) are written above the normal line of text. They help provide additional information or context e.g. to the presented variable. Let’s say that we want to add a footnote to a text manually or that we want to add a low sample footnote id as a superscript within a longer text. We can use it by adding text within “[sup][/sup]” markers in the text - see the first case with the low sample index. Notice that this will only work if the text is the expected result. Additionally, in Grid, the sample size superscripts are added automatically.

See also one more potentially useful scenario - how superscripts can be used to add custom footnotes:

While not all BBCode markers are supported, this feature can also be used for some formatting cases, such as bolding part of the text (“[b][/b]”).
