Properly defined filter

1. Properly defined filter
To use questions as filters, you have to define the subset. A properly defined subset will be marked with a blue funnel.

Filter with a missing subset

2. Filter with a missing subset
A question without a defined subset will be marked with a red title and a grey funnel. You will also see a red dot on the tab indicating that there is an error in your query, and the error will be displayed in the Error field.

Expression field

3. Expression field
The Expression field allows you to define more complex filters. The default setting is "A and B". You can use logical operators AND, OR and NOT. Expressions in brackets are processed first.
