Instead of copying the actual visual element, the format properties can be copied and pasted to another visual element.
Copying and pasting formats can be used with shapes, images, widgets, and text fields but not with visualizations (bar charts, pie charts, scatterplots, tables, etc.)
Copy the format of the visual element by selecting it, then clicking the copy icon (3rd one) in the upper right corner of the page.
The copied format can be pasted to another visual element on the same page or to a different page.
This example will paste the format to the same page.
