Collections are optional. They are intended to be used as a way to organize lists. Lists and content items (such as Halo Reports saved reports) can exist in a workspace without collections. Lists can be created and added to collections. However, collections do not support collections within collections (no sub-collections allowed). Content items cannot be added directly to collections. Content must be added to a list before being added to a collection.
