When including multiple visualizations that use parameters on the same slide, each visualization's parameter question will be listed in the Slide Parameters menu options.
Each of the four visualizations in this slide example uses Dataset Year as the parameter.
To change the Dataset Year from 2016 to something different without merging parameters, the user would be required to make the same selection four times.
By merging the slide parameters, these four selectors can be merged into a single parameter.
At the bottom of the Parameters menu, click the Manage Slide Parameters option.
Highlight each of the Dataset Year entries, then click the Merge button.
The individual parameters will be merged into a single entry.
Use the Edit Label option to change the name of the merged parameter, then click the OK button.
The newly merged parameter will appear in place of the previous individual parameters.
Change the parameter to a different year and all visualizations that dataset year applies to will be updated.
