Editing Tables Used in Visualizations
Edit mode capabilities have also been added to tables (spreadsheets included in slides).
Options for editing tables consist of:
-
Resizing the table horizontally and vertically
-
A new method for resizing rows and columns
Previously, to resize columns or rows in a table, it required leaving the Design Mode of Compose and going to Interactive Mode.
Within Interactive Mode, if a column was resized, all of the other columns would be changed to the same width.
The same applied to resizing rows. A change in size to one of the columns or rows would apply to every column or row.
That no longer applies.
All the table resizing is now done in the Design Mode view.
Click on the table within the slide to enable Edit mode.
A blue Edit tab will appear in the top-left corner of the table.
Click a column or row border and a blue line will appear.
Drag the blue line to resize the column or row.
In the example above, there are columns and rows that have been resized to different widths.
To resize the entire table, click and drag one of the outer borders.
