Verbatim Questions

Verbatims are an additional question type and are identified by a question icon with an “A.”

Verbatim questions consist of open-ended comments or responses that respondents give in a survey.

The length of a verbatim response can vary from a short comment to over 1,000 characters, depending on how the survey is setup.

Typically, verbatim responses are analyzed by running the verbatim question against a category question such as brand or model to see what respondents had to say.
Unlike other questions in a survey that are typically run for analysis by percentages or means, analysis of verbatim questions primary involves reviewing the actual answers or replies that were given.
However, Halo Reports does include a percentage or counts for each verbatim response provided.

This is a list of the features and functionality currently included with verbatim questions.
