User-Defined Question Overview

 
After you choose to create a new question, the following window will appear. Double click on window name to maximize / minimize it. Choose a name, location and type of your question and add response labels.
You can use two modes for building user-defined question by defining individual responses, or by providing expression which returns a responses.

Name the New Question

 
 Choose a name that represents the purpose of this new question;

Choose Scope

 
Modify the list of questions to include only those relevant to your analysis or workflow;

Locate the Question on the List

 
Select the Group under which this new question will be listed. The default place for the UDQ is the User defined questions section at the end of the Questions list.

Select the Question Type

 
Change Question Type: Select the type of question that best aligns with your desired outcome (i.e., multiple-choice, single-response).

Choose Preferred Weight

 
Choose "Default weight for a dataset" or if you need you can select "Follow the preference of another question." This second option indicates that the weight applied to your question will automatically match the weight used by the selected reference question. This ensures that the same weighing is applied to your question as well as the question you are referring to.

Permanent vs Report Scoped Question

 
Keep this UDQ as a permanent entity by checking the "Keep permanently" box. This will ensure you can use this newly created question outside of this report.
