Tabs and Tab Settings

 
Each tab is an independent part of your report and can use an independent data connection.

Active tab

1. Active tab
You can modify your query in this tab. Results will be visible in the spreadsheet. Left click on an inactive tab to set it to active.

The results of a query from an inactive tab will be visible on the spreadsheet.

Add new tab

Click on the plus sign to add a new tab.

Tab context menu

            While working with tabs you might need the tab context menu:
 
 
Using this context menu, you can:
 
  • Change the name of the tab
  • Duplicate a tab
  • Group tabs into required sections
  • Hide the tab
  • Change the color of the top of the tab for easier navigation
  • Go to Compose
  • Switch the data connection (each tab can use an independent data connection, read more in Applying data connections to tabs)
  • Convert the tab type to another tab template
  • Remove a tab
 
Note that if you want to rearrange the tabs, simply drag and drop them.
