Select at least one value of the variable and one of the additional options to create a subset.
To select/unselect a consecutive group of variables, click the first item, press and hold down the Shift key, and then click the last item.
You can also navigate using keyboard arrows.
The "Select all" function applies only to visible variables. This means that if you search for "price," click "Select all" and then remove the search filter—only variables that include "price" will be selected.
The same applies to the deselect all function.
Multiple response questions have additional options that may be set to narrow down your results.
"Match respondents with ANY of selected statement" option - once it is selected, the results will be built based on all the respondents who answered at least one of the selected statements.
"Match respondents with ALL of selected statement" option—the results will be built based on all the respondents who answer exactly the same responses as in the selected statements.
"Match respondents with at least "X" of selected statement" option - the results will be built based on all the respondents who answered at least "X" of the selected statements.
You can also exclude all respondents with other statements by selecting the "Exclude respondents with any other statements" checkbox.
Clicking on "Value of response to another question" allows you to leave in your subset only the cases for which the value of the variable for which we are choosing the subset is equal to any of the values of the second variable. This second variable can be selected from a list that appears when clicking on the button "Choose." See the screenshot below for reference.
