The version feature is introduced in Data Import. A version is a limited form of a dataset that can include only a selection of questions from the dataset or a filtered number of cases (e.g., respondents) (or both). The user will be able to upload the dataset only once and then define customized (e.g., tenant specific) versions of that dataset that could be later shared with different parties.
Versions of datasets are listed in the edit study family modal and in the top ribbon of the Data Import. Every dataset by default gets the “base” version, which is non-editable and includes all questions and all cases from the dataset (it is effectively the dataset).
