Rows

Results can be calculated in columns or rows. This symbol indicates that they are currently calculated in rows.

The orange funnel indicates that there is a subset defined in this question.

Results can be calculated in different ways depending on the question type. For numeric questions to change it left click the numeric question. Read more in  Selecting an output style.

 

For categorical questions instead of context menu, there is a # tab item. # tab item nested under the categorical question when it's in calculation panel or if the question is placed in non-calculation panel then the # tab item is placed alone in calculation panel. # tab item contains all calculations settings.
