Exporting / Importing Range Recodes

 
Except regular recodes Analyze gives a possibility to export and import range recodes, also to / from .xlsx files.

Export / Import recode

 
 

Export:

 
Range recodes export is slightly different from exporting regular recodes. In this case export file will only contain already defined Ranges, so you need to have at least one to export a file, otherwise you will get an empty spreadsheet. After clicking "Export .XLSX" Analyze will generate an excel spreadsheet with thee columns. Columns "A" and "B" contain the information about the range of the recode, while column "C" has labels of recoded ranges. You can edit this file and then import it back to Analyze.
 

Import:

 
Click "Import .XLSX" and choose an excel file that you want to import. You have to remember a few rules:
