View Owners of Shared Read-Only Resources

Users will sometimes be granted access to shared resources such as recodes, user-defined questions (UDQs), custom output styles, etc.
Users who have access to these shared resources can either have “full” or “read-only” permissions.

Full permissions grant users the ability to modify the shared resource.
In most instances, users who can access shared resources that they did not create themselves will have "read only” permissions.
This means the resource can be used, but cannot be modified.

Sometimes it will be necessary for “read-only” users to know who has "full" permissions to the shared resource.
This information is needed in case there are questions about the shared resource.

Users with "read-only" access to shared resources can view the owners and who has “full” permissions.

For most of the shared resource types, such as recodes and user-defined questions, expand the menu of the resource, and click the View Owners menu option.

This will open the access window of the resource and list the users who have “full” permissions.

Note: Users with “read-only” permissions will not be able to make changes to this page as the OK button has been disabled.
To exit this window, click the Cancel button.

To view the owners of a shared output style, select the Edit List option in the Choose Output Style menu.

Find the shared style listed under User Styles and click the Manage Access button.

This will open the access window of the output style and list the users who have “full” permissions and the shared users who have “read-only” permissions..

Note: Users with “read-only” permissions will not be able to make changes to this page.
The Save button has been disabled.
To exit this window, click the Cancel button.
