The user-defined question is automatically available for all datasets in the current data connection. However, you can choose to limit its availability to specific datasets. To do this, click the option to define the scope while creating or editing a UDQ. You can set the dataset scope for the UDQ by selecting e.g., "Country" and "Year" from the available dataset items. The scope of datasets can be changed in a similar way as for recodes - for reference see Setting a dataset scope for a recode.
