Expression-based questions provide enhanced flexibility, enabling the creation of new questions through arithmetic, comparison, or string operations on one or more existing variables. More info about the creating expressions you can find Expressions reference.

Name a new question

Type in a new question name.

Dataset scope

Modify the list of questions to include only those relevant to your analysis or workflow. Once the scope is defined, select OK.

Choose location

Select the Group under which this new question will be listed. The default place for the UDQ is the User defined questions section at the end of the Questions list.

Expression box

Type the expression in the expression box. Note that pressing “@” while filling in the fields will provide a list of searchable (start typing to limit the list) suggestions for each property.
