Create New UDF from Expression

 
 
In order to add new filter, type an expression in the expression box. The only accepted data type is Boolean condition that is True or False.

Filter name

Choose the filter name.

Scope of datasets

A scope of datasets can be defined, for which the User defined filter will be available (for details see Setting a dataset scope for a UDF).

Type the expression in the expression box.

Selecting an operator/function shows description in the free space on the right.
Double-clicking on an operator/function inserts it into the expression box at current position.

Keep permanently

When this option is chosen, the UDF will be saved and will appear in each of your reports with matching dataset scope, it will also be possible to share the UDF with other users/folders.

Provides test for new filter.
